This is where I share recipes, along with health and beauty tips found on my journey to becoming healthier by living a natural lifestyle. I’m passionate about getting healthy and excited to share my recipes and tip to help you where ever you are on your journey!
Another equally big desire of mine is to help my family make healthier lifestyle choices.
What do I mean by healthy?
When I say “natural” or “healthy” I mean things such as food and other products that have gone through little to no processing. And processing that doesn’t destroy the nutritional value of the food or products that have been prepared.
Still need me to explain further? That’s perfectly fine! There are so many diets around today and sometimes it’s difficult to gain a clear concept of what a person means when they say “healthy.” So let me specify.
In terms of food, I mean locally grown and organic fruits, vegetables, beans, lentils, grains, nuts and seeds, raw grass-fed dairy, grass-fed meat and poultry products, and wild caught fish (whew!) to name few. 🙂
In terms of body and home care, I mean products made without any toxic ingredients that could potentially cause harm to your health.
Essentially when I say healthy I’m referring to any food or product that hasn’t been treated with harmful chemicals or withstood any processing that will alter its nutrition or negatively impact your health.
Am I a health professional?
I am not a health professional. I know it may seem counterintuitive. A website offering healthy recipes and tips encourages readers to seek a health professional before taking any advice given within it.
But, because I don’t know the personal and physical health care needs of each person who comes to this site, I would highly encourage everyone to make their own health care decisions based on their own research along with guidance from a qualified healthcare professional.
So why do I share what I’ve learned?
Although I’m not a health professional I have spent years studying and researching health-related information shared by people and organizations very knowledgeable when it comes to health by means of a natural lifestyle.
It’s my goal to share whatever I learn on this journey with others in hopes that I might help someone else. I’d like to light someone’s path to a healthier lifestyle. And hopefully, that “someone” is you!
