- 3 1/2 cups water
- 2 cups of old-fashioned oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon or to taste
- 2 to 3 tablespoons of honey or to taste
- 3 to 4 tablespoons of butter or to taste
Add water, oats, and cinnamon to a medium-size saucepan over medium heat.
Reduce heat, stir continuously, and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes or until it reaches the desired thickness.
Remove from heat and add honey and butter.
